material from our vendors as possible in an effort to promote the
concept of eco-friendly commerce. Rest assured that the use of such
goods will in no ways jeopardize the security of your purchases.

We

Alice Adair is dedicated to treating each of our customers as if they were a lifelong friend.
The
majority of our goods are considered "one of a kind". They are found
all over the country at estates and auctions and it is very rare for us
to have stock of any sort. It will be considered normal then, if
vintage goods are less than pristine and reflect the wear, use, patina
and/or small defects that indicate them having been well-lived and
well-loved. To us, the "imperfections" make them all the more
endearing. We ask then that you please look over each item's photos and
descriptions carefully when making your selections.
At
this time, Alice Adair only offers UPS Ground Service within the lower
48 states. Please allow 2-3 days of processing time before your order
ships from our shop located in Dover, Ohio. Once your package is in
transit, you will be e-mailed with the parcel tracking number.
For
expedited shipping { UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air and 3 Day Select }
or packages mailed to Alaska or Hawaii, additional charges will be
incurred. If you require such options, please contact us prior to placing your order for an appropriate quote.
We
are currently in the process of setting up an exact shipping calculator
directly into our shopping cart, but until that time, shipping prices

All
orders being shipped to Ohio addresses will be charged state sales tax
at the rate of 6.5% prior to the addition of shipping charges.
Due
to the nature of our products { see Offerings above }, all sales are
final. We strive to give accurate descriptions and provide thorough
communication on items of your interest prior to purchase.
However, should you find an item is truly unsatisfactory, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt
and include the reason(s) you find the item not to your liking. At that
time, we will provide a return authorization shipping number. It is
imperative that you return the item to us in the same manner in which
you received it, as we can only accept items in the same state as they
were sold. We also encourage you to send the item with signature
receipt on the return delivery. Once the item is received, we will
issue a store credit or work with you to promptly deliver a comparable
item in exchange. We apologize, but we do not issue credit or cash
refunds.
While we take care in packaging your purchases, on rare
occasions, damage can occur during shipping. If you feel your item has
been damaged during shipment, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
Our staff will contact you on whether it is necessary to keep the
original packing materials, so please retain them. Any discarding of
packing materials prior to approval by us may result in voiding any
credit or exchange of item.
While
we appreciate your interest in our products, we do not currently
wholesale any of our artisan goods, offer quantity discounts, or
release any of our wholesale or resource information.
